Repairs and maintenance

Commercial Electrical Repairs and Maintenance

Fault finding, electrical repairs and planned maintenance for commercial and industrial premises across Leicester and the East Midlands, so your installation stays safe and working.

Repairs and maintenance

Find the fault, fix it properly, keep it working

When something stops working, you need to know why, not just to get it going again. We trace and repair faults on commercial and industrial installations, and we help facilities teams and property managers keep their buildings maintained, recorded and compliant.

Fault finding

Fault finding and electrical repairs

We use calibrated test equipment to find the cause of the problem, put it right and explain what we found.

  • Tripping circuits, loss of power and intermittent faults
  • Lighting, sockets and small power
  • Motors, DOL starters and control panels
  • Pump and float-switch controls
  • Damaged accessories, fittings and containment

Where we find anything else that needs attention, we report it to you clearly.

Example

Pumps, motors and controls

For an NHS site, we repaired a failed sewage pump system and then carried out a full refurbishment with new pumps and float switches. On a Leicestershire farm, we have repaired motors, DOL starters and control panels to get equipment back in service safely.

See industrial electrical for more on our work with motors and controls.

Planned maintenance

Planned maintenance

Regular, planned visits help find problems before they stop your business. We agree a schedule that suits your building, then check, maintain and record the installation.

  • Visual checks of boards, fittings and containment
  • Lighting and emergency lighting checks, with failed fittings replaced
  • Thermal and load checks where they are useful
  • Clear records after every visit
  • Remedial work set out for you to approve

Facilities

Facilities management support

We work alongside facilities managers, property managers and on-site teams, across one site or several. Access, isolations and paperwork are agreed with you before we start, and you get a clear report after every visit.

Compliance

Testing and records

Repairs and maintenance often go hand in hand with commercial EICRs and emergency lighting testing. See testing and compliance for how we keep your records in order.

Hours

Planned around your business

Our normal hours are Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm. Work outside those hours can be arranged in advance to keep disruption down.
